Easter Egg Transfer

I haven’t been very well over the weekend so I was looking for a quick and easy activity to keep Sophie busy for a while. I put some plastic Easter eggs into a bucket and left it on the floor with a variety of spoons, a basket and a muffin tin. Sophie got stuck in straight away and picked the eggs up with a ladle. She got really frustrated because it was difficult to tip the eggs out of the ladle. I showed her how to move them from the basket to the bucket using a spoon instead and she copied me.

She tried really hard to fill the muffin tin up and used her hands to help steady the eggs so she could get them in the holes.

Her favourite part of the activity was tipping the eggs out of the bucket!

She loves to collect things back up and ran around fetching the eggs before tipping them out all over again!

This was simple and quick to set up and kept her busy for a while. I had to watch her with the eggs though as she decided to put a whole one in her mouth at one point.
